The Beautiful Catedral de Barcelona
The city cathedral is an amazing building. The main entrance is where you go in and you quickly find yourself in a magnificent interiot, fill with candles and a typical churchy smell. There were a number of rather pretty chapels inside, lots of carved benches, and the 14th-century tomb of Santa Eulalia. It is called the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia or simply 'La Seu' for short. Visitors are able to take a lift to the actual roof. This is worth doing for so many reasons - the views of Barcelona are great and you can get up close and personal with a very different part of the cathedral itself, the towers and roof. It does cost for the lift, but in my opinion is money well spent.

Parc Guell - Nice Park
Parc Guell celebrates everything that the city of Barcelona is all about. This park is really popular with locals socialising and is always busy. It is one of Spain's most visited parks, partly due to its convenient position, on the northern side of the city centre. The Parc Guell was of course designed by Gaudi and this is apparent all over, with some funky shapes, a complex arrangement of staircases and some very colourful benches. Getting into the park is completely free, although you my find the steep walk to get here a bit tiring. Personally I didn't, but my wife kept complaining - that was until she got here anyway!
